Nokia Lumia 625 Reviews and Specifications

nokia lumia 625

The biggest screen phone from Nokia is out yes Nokia 625 is equipped with big 4.7 inch screen to take on the rival like Samsung, Sony and HTC but how well it succeed in it endeavor let’s find out.

Build and Display
According to Nokia official it is bigger better and faster it is the extension of lumia series 6x but while Nokia 620 had the smallest screen the Nokia lumia 625 has the biggest screen on WP8. Though the IPS display of 800*480 pixel made of Corning Gorilla glass 2 is somewhat disappointing the phone with such a premium price should have a HD display, other thing missing in display is ClearBlack layer and glance screen but in spite of low resolution the display is quiet nice to use, easy to type on, and gels well with the Windows Phone UI.

Now coming to the build quality it is quiet sturdy like the other Nokia phones. The phone is about 9.2mm thin, weighing about 158 grams the corner of the phone which is round in shape makes it quiet comfortable to hold.

OS Hardware and Connectivity
The Nokia 625 runs the latest windows 8 and is upgradeable to the next window version. The 625 also happens to have a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor (and 512 MB of RAM), which is a slight increase from the 1 GHz dual-core we’ve seen on the Lumia 520, 620 and 720 but there is no change in RAM size which remain fixed at 512 MB making it difficult to play HD games.

Though it features Bluetooth version 4.0 which is the first window phone to do so also the presence of LTE make internet surfing fast but the internal memory is just 8 GB whereas at least 16 GB memory was expected though you can increase the memory up to 64 GB by using micro SSD card also Microsoft provides 7 GB of skydive storage free with this handset so there is no dearth of storage.

Camera and Multimedia
Camera has always been the strong point of lumia and 625 is no expectation to it equipped with 5 MP rear cameras the device take a very nice snap and can also record HD videos whereas the front camera of .3 MP is quiet good at video chat.

Battery and Verdict
Equipped with 2000mAh battery the phone gives a talk time of 15 hours and a stand by time of 552 hours which is quiet nice considering its configuration.

Hence this is quiet a nice phone for WP lovers what is missing is HD display and 1 GB RAM.
